is pouring herself into the choreography which four of her
company members will perform.
Modern dance, she
says, is the interpretation of life, trials and tribulations as well as successes, by way of movement that incorporates ballet, jazz, tap and even hip-hop.She's
"hungry" for her
passion which allows her
to "show the audience a little piece of my humanity."Her
artistry come alive through her
dance.Marlena graduated from Southern in 2003.
In 2004, she
set out to live the dream in New York City where artistic opportunities abound.
As we all know, the cost of living in New York is as high as its skyscrapers.The financial strain exhausted Marlena
mentally and physically.
In 2007, she
returned to her
close-knit family in Brandon.Her
mother Sheila and her
dad Bill along with sisters Michelle and Rankin Ledger

went to work and opened her
two businesses.There's no mistaking it.That girl has some kinda drive.
