Dr Mark Wotherspoon
Born in Queensland and raised in Western Australia it is possible that Mark is Wagga Wagga's only Fremantle Dockers supporter.
Mark completed his university studies in 1984 and has worked in the Kimberley region, Perth metropolitan district and as a dentist in the regular Army. Since 1989 Mark has worked in private practice.
Married to Clare, a farmer's daughter from Narrandera, Mark has three children David, Laura and Joe.
Mark finds dentistry a fascinating combination of art and science and has loved every minute of his time in the profession since graduating. He feels the future looks even more exciting for dentists, hygienists and most importantly for his patients who will enjoy the mix of proven treatment techniques, the latest equipment and materials along with many developing technologies from the digital revolution to stem cell research.
The two aspects of his work that he enjoys the most are the restoration of damaged or diseased teeth to allow them to remain in the mouth and not have to be pulled out and the prevention of dental disease, especially gum disease, utilising the skills and support of the university qualified and experienced hygienists.
Mark enjoys and take every opportunity to attend the latest continuing education courses to enable the highest quality care for all the patients at Best St Dental practice.
