Mark Wingler
Pastor Mark Wingler is a native of Indianapolis and began serving in full-time ministry in 1992.
Prior to being called to the ministry, Mark worked in the business world, gaining experience in sales and administration.
During his 13 years in the commercial insurance business, Mark went from an entry level position in a national company to ownership of a successful agency.
Active in the Free Methodist Church, Mark's family was intimately involved with the church.Their home was always open to evangelists and missionaries, and Mark's mother would often take him with her when she made house calls on families, attended prayer meetings, or made hospital visits.Mark was always eager to go with her, she called him "her little preacher boy," an affectionate reference, but one that rang true, as Mark developed a longing for the ministry. He attended Greenville College to pursue that calling, but felt that he was inadequate for the ministry, and turned to the business world instead.
In 1990, Mark began teaching an Adult Bible Fellowship class at the Brownsburg Christian Church. It was there that he answered the "call" to go into full-time ministry, and in 1992 joined the staff of Brownsburg Christian Church as an Associate.
His passion for people would later combine with his passion for racing. In 1996 when the Indy Racing League was formed Mark left his position at the church to start the IRL Ministry.
After seven incredible years serving as pastor to the racing community, Mark left the IRL to spend more time at home with his wife, Debbie, and their four children.
In November of 2004, Mark transitioned into the position of Pastor at FAITH of Brownsburg Church.
