Mark Willson Building Operations
Mark Willson oversees Building Operations for Historic Seattle at the Good Shepherd Center in Wallingford. He received his B.F.A. in painting from the University of New Mexico in 1980, and settled permanently in Seattle in 1982. Mark has worked as a sign painter, cabinetmaker, carpenter, apprentice electrician, and with stained glass. He and his wife Margot moved into the Good Shepherd Center in 1988 as caretakers, and he joined the building maintenance crew in 1992. As building operations director he manages an excellent staff and works with an established, varied, and engaged group of tenants and residents that all help forge the dynamic, exciting, vibrant atmosphere enjoyed by all at the Good Shepherd Center. In his free time, Mark pursues his art, and he and Margot are avid dancers.

Mark Wilson, the property manager for the Good Shepherd Center, states that the building, which was constructed in 1905, originally housed the Sisters of the Good Shepherd, a Roman Catholic order of nuns that were devoted to the care, rehabilitation and education of girls and young women in crisis.
