ValentinePrincipal and CEO Mark brings thirteen years of experience in manufacturing and customer support to OPS Central.He was previously Vice President of Operations at Geyser Networks, an optical networking startup, where he managed all manufacturing programs, the supply chain, manufacturing engineering, test engineering, quality engineering, IT, customer service, and facilities.He created the manufacturing strategy, supervised the prototype production, developed the supply chain, established the product and process documentation, built the operations organization and controlled the procurement of all materials, services and MRO items.Prior to Geyser Networks, Mark served as the Director of Strategic Accounts at Flextronics, where he managed global account managers and oversaw major accounts,including Lucent, Philips, Sony and WebTV.He
successfully developed supply chain solutions to provide efficient and cost-effective manufacturing and distribution of global products. Mark started his career with Tandem Computers, where he spent ten years moving through Tandem's management structure, including a two-year stint starting up the company's manufacturing facility in Scotland.He also served as Director of Worldwide Logistics in customer support with responsibility for global planning, procurement, and distribution of spare parts in support of Tandem's $900 million services business. Mark received his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University in 1986 and a Masters of Science degree from Stanford in 1987.
