Pastor Mark Timmer
Pastor Mark grew up on a small farm in western Michigan. He attended Zeeland Christian Schools and Holland Christian High School. He received a B.A. in Greek from Calvin College and a Masters in Divinity from Calvin Theological Seminary (located in Grand Rapids, Michigan). During seminary he served churches in Michigan, Alaska, Florida and Nova Scotia.
Mark and his wife, Bonnie, and their three children reside in Tinley Park.
Pastor Mark stays active with walking, biking, and various sports (often with his kids), and finding ways to avoid camping. (He is thinking about starting a support group for non-campers). He also likes to read and do projects around the house.

Pastor Appreciation: As we enter October, pastor appreciation month, the council of Faith Church would like to publicly express our deep appreciation to Pastor Mark for his work in leading our church family. We thank him for his commitment to serve his Lord and Savior so selflessly and give thanks to God for sending him to us. Recognizing that words of appreciation and intercessory prayer are such a blessing, we ask the congregation to join us in expressing thanks and in regular prayer that God will bless Pastor Mark and his family as together we worship and serve our Lord.
