With over 22 years of experience as a business and technology professional, Mark held senior positions in product management, engineering, and marketing.While at VERITAS Software (now Symantec), he led the product management integration efforts during the acquisition of KVS Software, a $225M acquisition.While in product management, Mark supervised products through a formal lifecycle process, met with customers to understand their needs, managed and communicated product vision, and negotiated with engineering to get the product built.
Mark also created VERITAS'
first Competitive Intelligence group which enabled marketing and engineering to create better products while supporting VERITAS' 1000 person direct sales team with critical competitive information that helped them exceed quota each quarter. Mark has an MBA from Keller Graduate School and a Bachelor's degree in Management of Information Systems at the University of Central Florida.Mark is a certified Business Continuity Professional, a former Microsoft Systems Engineer, and a US Navy Veteran.He proudly serves on the Board of Directors with the Central Florida Zoo.
