He is currently Director of the MS - Engineering Management Program at Marquette University and teaches graduate level courses in system modeling and analysis, reliability and failure analysis, lean systems, and more.
Prior to making the move to academia, Polczynski was Director of Advanced Technology Development at Eaton Corporation.
