He started at De Soto Jr. High School in 1978 where he taught math, social studies, consumer economics and coached football, basketball and track. e also taught and coached at De Soto High School. n 2000, Mark moved to Mill Valley High School where he teaches economics, community service and coaches track. Mark Peck - In addition to his 30 years of service in the district, he is retiring at the end of the school year. fter teaching and coaching at De Soto Jr. High School, De Soto High School and Mill Valley High School his plans for retirement include continuing to work doing home improvements with a friend and he also wants to continue to coach track in some capacity.
