Mark Mallardi Mark Mallardi is the EVP, Sales & Marketing for Buyology Inc. He joined the company in February 2012 with responsibility for global Sales and Marketing strategy and execution, including scaling Buyology's Sales and Marketing efforts to meet the rapidly growing global demand for its services.
Most recently, Mallardi served as SVP, Sales & Marketing for EmSense, one of the pioneers in the application of neuroscience to the measurement of consumers' emotional response to marketing stimuli. In this role, he staffed, managed and provided all strategic direction for a Global Direct Sales organization, established co-marketing partnerships with Fifth Dimension, TNS Sorensen and SymphonyIRI Group, and had complete responsibility for the company's Marketing Communications efforts. Mallardi's clients included: ConAgra, Dole, Frito-Lay, Hallmark, Hershey's, Intel, Kellogg's, Kraft, Mars, Microsoft, Nestle, Pepsi, Post Cereals, Safeway, Time, Inc, Unilever, and Walmart.
Prior to joining EmSense, Mallardi worked for more than ten years consulting with Fortune 500 Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) leaders at Information Resources, Inc (IRI), where he served as Senior Vice President of Client Service and Western Regional Manager. His previous Market Research experience includes PepsiCo, Altria, and SPAR Group.
In addition to his depth of experience in CPG, Mallardi also brings deep expertise in the Media, Toy & Game, and Educational markets. He served as CMO for Scope Seven, Inc, a leading interactive design and media services provider to the Entertainment and Gaming industries; VP, Marketing for Educational Insights, a leading manufacturer of educational toys and games, Electronic Learning Aids (ELAs), and classroom resources; and VP, Marketing Communications for Classroom Connect, a leading publisher of Internet-based K-12 curriculum resources.
Mallardi is a frequent speaker on the subjects of consumer and shopper insights, research trends, and the application of neuroscience to consumer Market Research.
