Mark Kaelke, Southeast Alaska/Tongass Project Director 907-321-4464
Mark Kaelke joined TU's Alaska Program in 2007 after 12 years outfitting and guiding fly fishing trips in Southeast Alaska. Prior to moving to Alaska full-time in 1988, Mark managed to graduate from Montana State University despite its proximity to all those blue ribbon streams. He is based in Juneau and focused on conserving high value watersheds on the Tongass National Forest and working to restore the ones that weren't so lucky. He is a proud soccer/swimming/hockey dad, an avid hunter and fisherman, and a tortured but dedicated Minnesota Viking fan.
