...Crosby has a distinguished career in public safety and emergency management, successfully establishing the Port,s aviation security and public safety department in the dynamic era that followed the events of Sept. 11, 2001.He
is experienced with emergency response efforts including floods, earthquakes, wildfires in Oregon and California, and most recently, hurricanes in Louisiana.Crosby
has planned, organized and participated in dozens of emergency response exercises involving a myriad of contingency scenarios.As a lieutenant colonel in the Oregon Air National Guard, he is the commander of a communication squadron that recently returned from New Orleans.He previously served as the deputy commander of the State of Oregon bioterrorism team and was the state emergency plans officer.
