has been practicing Bikram Yoga since 2003, when he
stopped in for class while on vacation.He
quickly recognized the benefits of the yoga in his
life, and after three years decided that it was time to share what he
has learned with others.He graduated from Bikram's teacher training in Fall 2006.A native of San Antonio, Mark attended St. Mary's University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music.He received his Master of Music degree from UTSA with a concentration on Choral Conducting.Mark
finds an intimate connection between his
musical training and the practice of yoga, enjoying the challenge and rewards that each has to offer.There is grace and beauty in each, and no matter how much you practice either, every time you come away with a slightly different understanding and appreciation of the art.In addition to teaching and practicing Bikram Yoga, Mark is the Associate Director of the Office of Worship for the Archdiocese of San Antonio; organist, cantor, and choir director at St. Paul Catholic Church; and a member of the Alamo City Men's Chorale.
