Mark Abner, Vice President for Development Mark and TU's team of fundraisers work with the organization's many generous donors to provide financial resources to accomplish the mission. He is based in Atlanta and came to TU in 2013 after twenty years fundraising for The Nature Conservancy, the University of Minnesota and the Trust for Public Land. Mark especially loves to fish in the Midwest's bucolic Driftless Area and was once an active volunteer with the Twin Cities Chapter. He is married to a U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service biologist and has a masters degree in environmental studies from The Evergreen State College and a B.A. from Emory University.
