He has a diverse background and set of life values stemming from the hard-working honesty and family values his amazing parents instilled during the upbringing in the North End of Elizabeth directly behind the Dayton Street Projects in Newark, one of the roughest sections in New Jersey. However, it was the loss of his Grandfather that stimulated Mr. Domina to change his life by accepting a basketball scholarship to attend, Florida Air Academy, one of the top preparatory military boarding schools schools in the country at 14 years old. There, at Florida Air Academy, Mr. Domina excelled due to his upbringing in New Jersey, yet was able to learn and impliment important skills that changed his life enabling him to achieve such goals as becoming Executive Officer (1st. LT) to oversee a corp of cadets and squadron. As a basketball player, he was MVP in both his Junior and Senior year. Mr. Domina went on to play college basketball at the University of Palm Beach as starting guard his freshman year until the school dropped its scholarships and program. A few years later while playing in several independent industrial and summer leagues, he accepted a full basketball scholarship to Eastern New Mexico University where he returned to graduate after his playing days in the minor leagues for Bristol-Myers company and numerous others. He completed his playing career in Montevideo, Uruguay 1979. In his business career, post basketball, Mr. Domina served on several Chamber of Commerce committees and board of directors in Melbourne, Florida on the Brevard Chamber of Commerce and Brevard Business Council, in Santa Monica, California on the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce (Health Committee, where he raised the entire production budget and produced a series of PSA commercials that aired over 5,000 spots in one week for the American Cancer Society's Annual Daffodil Days campaign, to which he received a letter of commendation. In Phoenix, Arizona, Mr. Domina served on the Block Watch Advisory Board where he produced a number of videos in association with the Phoenix Police Department and Blockwatch. Mr. Domina was awarded a certificate of merit and letter of commendation by the Chief of Police and city of Phoenix for his participation in the national PSA videos and print campaign in the first major Anti-Drug program with the Phoenix Police Department, Mayor's Office and Kramer-Krassault Advertising, entitled DO DRUGS, DO TIME. Additionally, Mr. Domina is a former Screen Actors Guild - AFTRA member and served on the Producer's Relations Committee. Mr. Domina is a member in good standing with the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (Production Executives and Diversity group) since 1996 and a credited Film/TV Creative-Executive Producer with his companies, ThunderBall Films having produced such high profile indie films as Frame 313: The JFK Assassination Theories, Obama in NC: The Path to History, The Real Zodiac Killer and The Valley of Tears.
