SVP and Chief Information Officer
Marina Lubinsky is senior vice president and chief information officer for Oakwood Worldwide.
Lubinsky leads Oakwood Worldwide's information technology function and is responsible for strategy, deployment, and operations of technology both regionally and globally.
As part of these responsibilities, she
directs the implementation of key programs and initiatives that enable the company's strategic plans.
Lubinsky joined Oakwood in 2006 as vice president of information technology.
During her tenure in that role, she successfully directed the design and development of the company's technology platforms, resulting in increased reliability, significant cost savings and much-improved customer care.
In 2009, Lubinsky
was named to her
current position and where she
is focused on delivering application and infrastructure technology that help the company effectively meet and respond to customer needs.
Prior to joining Oakwood, Lubinsky worked as a corporate IT executive as well as an information technology consultant.
She also has experience in system development, distributed computing, networks, general technology infrastructure and business process re-engineering.
Her background includes IT leadership positions with AIG, Disney and Accenture.
Lubinsky holds a Master of Science degree in electrical and computer engineering from the Technical University of Denmark, Copenhagen.
also completed an executive management program at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management
and was named a Kellogg Executive Scholar.
Lubinsky is a member of the CIO Executive Council and the National Association of Professional Women.
