Marilynn Reichel Sales and Customer Service Manager
Marilynn doesn't know this (well, I guess she does now!), but when we were interviewing candidates for the Sales and Customer Service Manager position in the summer of 2003, we distinguished her from the other applicants by referring to her as "The Cheese Dog Lady. That's because all of her previous work experience was in the cheese industry, and she breeds and shows Belgian Tervuren dogs.
How much more "Wisconsin" can you get than a cheesemaker? But actually, Marilynn grew up outside of Detroit and attended Michigan State University. After earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture with a major in Dairy Science, Marilynn worked in several managerial positions in the cheese industry in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Most recently, she specialized in quality assurance. Even though on the surface, cheese and pottery don't seem too similar, Marilynn's skills were an excellent match for EFP's Sales and Customer Service Manager position.

Marilynn is extremely generous with her time and her skills, and she works hard to keep both customers and co-workers happy. We've discovered that she's a great party planner, and she's always bringing in special treats for her EFP co-workers and their children. Marilynn has a great sense of humor and loves to play practical jokes. When you hear her chuckle and say, "You know what we should do? you know she's got something up her sleeve!
But seriously, Marilynn approaches her responsibilities with enthusiasm, empathy, and intelligence. She is an important member of the Ephraim family, and we're proud to have her working with us. We're glad she decided to make the switch from Parmesan to pottery.
