Marilyn Granger Huletz, 71, a resident of County Trunk B, Manitowoc, died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2002, at her residence.Marilyn was born Feb. 10, 1930, in Green Bay, Wis.Her parents were the late Harold and Bernice Krueger Dahnke.She graduated from Green Bay West High School in 1947.She entered the United States Air Force in 1950.Upon returning to Green Bay, she worked as a civil service employee for various government agencies for many years.She retired from the City of Manitowoc Post Office in 1988 after 14 years of employment.On June 17, 1979, she married Ralph Huletz in Two Rivers, Wis.She was a member of Green Bay American Legion Auxiliary Post #539 and the post's Echlon Group 20/4.She also was a member of Drews-Bleser American Legion Auxiliary Post #88, Manitowoc.She was a past member of the Manitowoc Bowling Association.

Survivors include her husband, Ralph; a daughter, Richelle-Rikki (Daniel) Howard, Chicago, Ill.; three stepdaughters, Jill (Jim) Perozzo, Roselle, Ill.; Judy (Dennis) Schwanke and Susan Huletz-Colland, all of Manitowoc; a stepson, Neil "Andy'' Huletz, Manitowoc; a brother, Allen (Dee) Dahnke, Paragould, Ark.; also six grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Sunday, 1 p.m. until the time of memorial services.A memorial services will be held at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Sunday, Jan. 27, 2002, at 2 p.m. Sister Jean Herman will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the Lakeshore Humane Society.
