Marie Natale, signature member of both the New Jersey Watercolor Society and Philadelphia Water Color Society, has painted a vast array of landmarks and landscapes in Cape May, Ocean City, Millville, Hammonton and throughout southern New Jersey.
Leslie Martel, who has studied under Marie Natale, is a watercolor artist who first began her art career designing and painting sisal rugs for the interior design industry.

began painting at the age of twelve, and the encouragement of an early teacher inspired her
to pursue a lifelong love affair with creativity and art.
She earned her Masters in Art Education from Rowan University and taught in public schools for a decade, winning the acclaimed "Teacher of the Year Award" and advocating for children's art education programs.
Also a talented businesswoman, Natale founded Paw Togs/Enchanted Beginnings, a designer clothing line for infants and children.

In the summer of 2003, Natale
produced a total of eight lighthouses for the "Beacons by the Sea" fundraiser sponsored by Cape Atlantic Community College
, encouraging artists to design and paint five-foot fiberglass lighthouses with local and whimsical motifs.
In 2005, two of Marie's design proposals were granted in the final selection for the Nipper Dog Project, raising over $100,000 in funds for the town of Moorestown, NJ.

, including Best in Show (2006), the Award of Excellence (2007), and the 2007 Magali Gottesthal Memorial Award.
An elected member of the New Jersey Watercolor Society, Natale teaches watercolor privately at her home studio in EHT, at the Ocean City Art Center in Ocean City, NJ as well as community centers and art guilds throughout the state.
A popular demonstrator and workshop leader, Natale continues to share her knowledge of art theory and watercolor techniques along with the joy that art has brought into her life.

GLASSBORO - "Watercolor is the most exciting of all media," said artist Marie Natale.
"I love the cleanliness and breathing in the air.
It's just water and pigment."
Natale will be holding art classes for adults in St. Bridget Church Hall starting Sept. 5.
This is the winning watercolorist and teacher's fourth year at St. Bridget.
She noted that all levels of experience are welcome, from beginners to professional who are interested in "loosening up and pushing color."
Two classes are being offered: 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and 3:30-6:30 p.m., Sept. 5, 12, and 26 and Oct. 3, 10, and 24.
Classes are $210, she pointed out.
"I have done paintings for the church, four of them, which were made into cards as a fundraiser," Natale said.
She teaches watercolor at her home studio and at the Ocean City Art Center in Ocean City, in Gloucester County, Cape May, and at community centers and art guilds throughout the East Coast and abroad.
"I used to teach elementary school and at Brigantine High School and in Pleasantville," she said.
"I also have a Master's in art education.
She taught in the public school system for 10 years, and won "Teacher of the Year Award.
For a time Natale taught watercolors at Gloucester County College.
She's also taught in Italy, specifically Rome, Pompeii and Umbria and traveled there with nine students.
Natale founded Paw Togs/Enchanted Beginnings, a designer clothing line for infants and children.
After successfully running this business for 10 years, she turned her attention to industrial design, creating gift products and plant containers distributed worldwide through such national chains as Walmart, Lowes, and K-mart, among others.
