Margaret Norfleet Neff came to PEA with a varied arts and education background, which includes designing education programs for the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art, the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Art Institute of Chicago, creating a teaching model for museum docents based on human development and creating the first special needs art museum program in North Carolina.
Margaret was a founding member of the Chicago Children's Theatre, founder and faculty member of The Lycee Francais de Chicago, owner of Periwinkle Landscapes, LLC and is co-creator of the Beta Verde: Home Sown Experiment Project.
Most recently Margaret
has been working for River Run Film Festival writing grants and assisting with fundraising.
In her spare time, Margaret
is the Chair of Slow Food Piedmont Triad and recently returned from Terra Madre, a worldwide symposium on sustainability in food.
Margaret received her BS from University of North Carolina in Recreation Administration and City Planning and pursued her graduate studies at Bank Street College of Education in psychology.
