Marcia Barton
Marcia Barton is an API instructional fellow who loves teaching about the challenges and beauty of this planet through AP Environmental Science. Since 2000, she has taught Botany, Biology, Chemistry and Environmental Science at Santa Fe High. Ms. Barton has a National Board Certification in Environmental Science, a Master of Science degree in secondary education from New Mexico Tech and a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resource Policy and Management from the University of Michigan. She was a participant in both the Fulbright US-Japan Teacher Exchange on Education for Sustainable Development, and in the Toyota International Teacher Program to the Galapagos Islands. Prior to teaching she was a biodynamic organic grower, worked for various environmental organizations and was a consultant to the Honduran government.
