Marc's business career began shortly after earning his B.A. in psychology from the University of Michigan.
became an important contributor to his
family's retail business, a clothing and sporting goods enterprise that his
grandfather founded in 1920.
endured many extreme challenges over the years, as the family business experienced many unexpected stresses.
These experiences served to prepare Marc
for what was to come later.
During this period, Marc ascended to the presidency of the closely-held corporation, and also served as trustee of the company's qualified defined-contribution plan.
With a long history of successes, and a few important - but not devastating - failures that provided invaluable learning experiences, Marc
chose to exit the retail industry after 21 extraordinary years.
spent two years in the automobile industry where he
skills in the fast-moving world of internet sales.
It was there that he
became introduced to the world of pre-taxed employee benefits.
was intrigued at the scope of the unmet need that workers had for paycheck protection in the event of disabling accident or illness.
obtained licensing to market disability income insurance and health insurance.
From there, he
gained authority to offer his
new clients life insurance and fixed annuities.
In the past few years, Marc
has helped to educate nearly 1,600 individuals as to ways that financial risks can be effectively managed.
is particularly fond of helping owners of small businesses to deploy their business' cash in the most advantageous ways, drawing on his
own years of firsthand experiences.
also loves to guide couples in ways to avoid the often unintentional transfers of family wealth away from what could otherwise be additions to retirement planning solutions and a personal legacy.
Marc lives in the Fox Chapel area of Pittsburgh with his
wife of many years, Marjie.
Their daughter, Ayla, is attending the Stern School of Business at New York University
Marc is a trumpet player, having been trained by a member of the world-famous Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.
