Marc Scharnowske, president of the Edgewood Country Club board of directors, said Thursday the sale to the Mays brothers has been finalized.
He said the new owners are paying off the past debt of the country club, $385,000, and has committed to investing up to $550,000 to upgrade the club house and golf course.
Resident Dick Peck said he wanted more than one person bidding on the property, which is what happened.
"I'm happy with it," he said of the sale.

Scharnowske said a committee will be appointed to oversee the remodeling with two members from the board of directors and one from the new owners.
"There will be extensive remodeling done," Scharnowske said.
