Appalled by the conditions there, Gandhi showed Karketta's two daughters, Pushpita and Swapna, to minister Manohar Tirkey and told him that they could not have a better picture of malnutrition than here.
Gandhi also told Tirkey
to immediately arrange for drinking water and electricity.
"The local MLA (Tirkey) and MP Joachim Buxla, both belonging to the RSP, come here only at the time of elections," alleged Sarki.
