Malcolm Dawes is a highly respected and sought after organisational performance consultant with a keen interest in sales and leadership development. In particular he is a recognised expert in helping people understand how to increase their interaction effectiveness when managing people and situations.
After eight years as a nurse, Malcolm's career moved into the pharmaceutical industry. He held a number of sales, marketing and training roles in the UK and Australia with sanofi and Innovex.
In January 2000 Malcolm was appointed to Head of Training for Quintiles & Innovex in Australia/New Zealand and joined the Executive Management Team. This role also involved the management and implementation of a major 2 year project across 14 countries in Asia Pacific. Malcolm held this role for almost 4 years and during that time he became a client of dta WORLDWIDE. The following years saw Malcolm join dta as a partner, establishing their UK office.
In July 2008, Malcolm purchased dta and its parent company and continues to offer state of the art development techniques in sales, team work and leadership including eLearning and blended learning to businesses around the world through its partner network.
He has published research on leadership along with a number of articles on sales excellence. He has also written on sales leadership for the 'Australasian Sales Compendium' to be published in late 2010. Malcolm is a member of the Australian Institute of Training & Development and is a Director of The Institute of Learning and Development Professionals.
Malcolm has appeared on the internet TV channel "The Profitability Channel" as well as presenting on sales and leadership in a number of countries around the world. Malcolm has been on the judging panel of the PRIME (Pharmaceutical Research Innovation and Marketing Excellence) Awards on four occasions in the past five years.
