A caricature is best described as an exaggerated description.Sources vary as to the origins of the caricature, but it has surfaced in various eras, used both for political satire and as entertainment.From black-tie banquets to backyard barbecues, caricatures can offer humorous entertainment and lasting keepsakes.Sturman is a graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, a former corporate graphic illustrator and caricaturist since 1984, she specializes in quick-draw caricatures (1-4 minutes per face).
Located in the Pittsburgh area, Sturman
also performs the art of caricature in Las Vegas several times a year.She is a member of the National Caricaturist Network, the Pittsburgh Society of Artists and the Greater Pittsburgh Visitors and Convention Bureau.
