Prior to joining Albright, Houtsma & Clark, LLC, Patrick's worked for the boutique business and estate planning law firm of Menden, Freiman & Zitron, LLP and provided international tax consulting services with Deloitte & Touche in Washington, DC and Atlanta.
represents and advises privately held companies in all stages of the business life cycle from the entity formation stage through operational issues and business expansion to the sale of the business or its transition to the next generation of owners or managers.
practice involves advising clients on asset protection planning, transactional matters including mergers, acquisitions and reorganizations, and a wide array of contract matters relating to business governance, employment, intellectual property protection, non-competes and other restrictive covenants, and business succession.
also provides a range of estate and trust planning services to individuals at various age, income and net worth levels.
regularly advises clients with foundational estate planning issues and works with high net worth clients on the appropriate use of advanced estate planning techniques such as revocable trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts, and family limited partnerships.
Patrick serves on the board of an Atlanta-based charitable foundation called For Pete's Sake Foundation which assists families of children with rare diseases.
Patrick is an Atlanta native and graduated from the Marist School.
He received his Bachelors of Arts in International Economics and Finance, magna cum laude, from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. and his Juris Doctor from the Georgia State College of Law where he received awards for his studies in Business Planning and International Business Transactions.
Patrick is a member of the Georgia Bar.
