Ms. Schneider has extensive experience as an international strategy consultant in the defense industry and public/private sector economic development. She served as the principal policy and oversight advisor (Highly Qualified Expert) to the Deputy Under Secretary of the Army on matters affecting Army Stability Operations. She worked for IBM in their Global Business Services Division supporting Lean Six Sigma efforts. She currently supports the NRO as a contractor and volunteers at TAPS as the lead for establishing Project Hope: Support to the widows of the Afghan National Security Forces in Afghanistan- emotional support and micro-enterprise development. She has provided innovative strategy and policy solutions to senior officials/military on a global scale and has extensive knowledge of global innovation, policy/processes, crisis response, and economic development and microbusiness initiatives. Successfully researched and re-engineered large enterprise-wide initiatives, across multi-functional, cross-disciplinary teams for the private sector and in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, US Army, European Command and IBM. She was the key contributor for the creation of the Chief Management Officer Act, Information Technology Management Reform Act and Government Performance and Results Act. In 2010 she worked for the US Forces in Basrah, Iraq as the civilian Economic Advisor to the Commanding General for all of southern Iraq. She was involved in rebuilding the private sector of the Basrah Governate developing and implementing public and private business partnerships in construction, oil and gas, steel, and other private entities utilizing private capital investments. Ms. Schneider has extensive private sector experience with NGOs and advises them to develop strategies and execute plans for private sector economic development. Ms. Schneider started her own independent consulting firm in 1998 in order to apply knowledge innovation and economic development strategies to position clients for emerging markets and advising business incubators across Germany. She has traveled extensively overseas and has international contacts and business partners in Europe and the Middle East. Ms. Schneider is an honorary member of Entovation International - a global knowledge innovation strategy firm as well as a founder of Enterability which housed Entertech. Enterability was an e-learning, curriculum and training company targeting entry level job and life skills training. Entertech software was developed by UT Austin and was obtained through the technology transfer program at the Austin Technology Incubator. Ms. Schneider served on active duty in Iraq in 2004 as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Her team assisted the Iraqi populace in rebuilding an area on the south side of Baghdad. Her second tour placed her in charge of civil military operations planning for the surge in 2007 for the entire Baghdad province, a population of over 7 Million Iraqi's. This position required extensive collaboration and integration with USG Inter-agency and non-USG players in economic development, governance, and the private sector. She received the Bronze Star Medal for her work. Ms. Schneider is currently a Lieutenant Colonel and serves in the Army Reserve and is an expert on Civil Military operations. She has spent 25+ years in the Army Reserve, is a Fellow at the Institute of Capital and Creativity (IC2) in Austin Texas. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, a Master's Degree in Information Systems from George Mason University. Ms. Schneider volunteers on the Board for the Orphan Foundation of America, the Iraqi Children's Foundation and One World Medical Relief. She is co-author of six books including: Non-traditional Warfare: 21st Century Threats and Responses; Knowledge Economics; and Business Process Engineering: Advancing the State of the Art; The Future of Innovation, as well as numerous articles.

She was responsible for oversight, design and execution of enterprise-wide business procedures and best business practices/processes, streamlining organizations, change management, eliminating non-value added activities, and identifying required management systems and practices. In 2010 she worked for the US Forces in Basrah, Iraq as the Economic Advisor to the Commanding General for all of southern Iraq. She was involved in rebuilding the private sector of Iraq by working with businesses in construction, oil and gas, steel, and other private entities utilizing private capital investments. Ms. Schneider has extensive private sector businesses and NGOs she works with to develop strategies and execute plans for private sector economic development. Ms Schneider left the department in 1998 to start her own independent consulting firm in order to apply knowledge innovation and economic development strategies to position clients for emerging markets. She has traveled extensively overseas international contacts and business partners in South America, Oman, Europe, Turkey, Iraq, China, Africa and Bangladesh. She is co-author of four books: Non-traditional Warfare: 21st Century Threats and Responses; Knowledge Economics; and Business Process Engineering: Advancing the State of the Art ; The Future of Innovation, as well as numerous articles. She has served as the Deputy Director for the Defense Business Board. The board provided advice to the Secretary of Defense on best business practices and alternative solutions on topics of interest and critical business management issues. She served twice on active duty in Iraq as part of the US Army Reserves. She was a Team Leader in Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom. Her team assisted the Iraqi populace in rebuilding an area on the south side of Baghdad. Ms Schneider continues to support humanitarian efforts in Iraq as a volunteer.
