Lynn McLane President Turquoise Trail National Scenic Byway And this year, to remind us that our culture and heritage are what makes us unique, Carla Ward, Lynn McLane, Patricia & Todd Brown, Hugh Hacket, Todd Klippenstein and Mary Ann Graziano had the pleasure of representing the Turquoise Trail National Scenic Byway at this year's conference. Lynn chose Senator Dede Feldman's "Using Public Relations to Increase Tourism in Your Community. Lynn McLane President, Turquoise Trail National Scenic Byway Attending: Diana Johnson , Lynn McLane, Carla Ward, Patricia Brown, Marianna Hatten , Mary Ann Graziano & Paul Ureche, Larry Valtelhas, Richard & Helen Boyce. Lynn is canvassing Madrid. Lynn will send out a broadcast email for candidates interested in an executive or board position. "Growing our organization is important in order to continue the successes we have experienced," notes Lynn McLane, president. "The National Scenic Byway status is extremely important to maintain," adds Ms. McLane.

Meeting was attended by: Carla Ward, Lynn McLane, Larry Valtelhas, Diana Johnson, Mary Ann Graziano & Pat Brown
1. October 2006 New Mexico Governors Conference on Tourism: Lynn made suggestions for different types of breakout sessions, perhaps on fund raising and the "Byway." 2. Heart of New Mexico: Magazine ad will be continued this year. 3. Web-site: Hosting for Corridor Management Plan will be continued for the next 3 years. 4. Madrid: Traffic due to filming of movie "Wild Hogs" was discussed. Decision: Lynn will send an e-mail to make residents and surrounding areas aware of traffic issues. Attending grant committee members: Lynn McLane, Carla Ward, Diana Johnson, Larry Valtelhas and Patricia Brown. Lynn, TTA president will invite Laurie Frantz, Scenic Byway Marketing Coordinator from NM Department of Tourism. Lynn, TTA president would write newsletters # 7 on the Cleveland National Scenic Byway Conference, using reports by the TTA attendees and # 8 on the NM Gov Conference on Tourism, bill under line item 9 for conferences.
