Prior to beginning her own consulting company, Ms. Cooksey served as Executive Director for Austin Community Television.

While working as a Program Officer for the Economic Opportunity Division of the Texas Department of Community Affairs, Lynn Cooksey performed a variety of administrative functions including training contractors, reviewing programs, establishing performance measures, reviewing personnel and conducting on-site monitoring visits.

She previously served as the Program Development Specialist for Architecture for the University of Texas at Austin's Thompson Conference Center Division of Continuing Education.
While with UT-Austin
, Ms. Cooksey
planned, administered, coordinated and facilitated continuing education programs.

Lynn Cooksey received her M.P.A. in Public Policy from the L.B.J. School of Public Affairs of the University of Texas at Austin.
She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the same institution.
