Dr. Lynn Cetin, Vice Chair of the Parish Council, then welcomed guest speaker Dr. Armen Baibourtian, Director of Administration at the Diocese of the Armenian Church of America (Eastern) to address the community.

The main speaker was our past Parish Council Chairman, Dr. Lynn Cetin, who gave a very instructive, interesting and important lecture regarding the act of gathering around the dinner table and eating together as one family.Over one hundred attendees were present to listen to Dr. Lynn Cetin's most informative lecture.Following in the diocesan theme of the year "Church and Home: One in Spirit" Dr. Cetin explained in detail and at times with very simple language and giving examples from her own life the importance of the whole family eating together.After the lecture, Fr. Vahan thanked Dr. Cetin for a very interesting lecture.Frank to read a special "Letter of Blessing" by the Primate, His Eminence Archbishop Khajag Barsamian, presented to Dr. Lynn Cetin for her many years of unselfish service to the Armenian Church and to our parish and for her leadership demonstrated during her tenure as Parish Council Chairman.Following this surprise presentation, another surprise followed.The past Vice-Chairman of the Parish Council, Greg Saraydarian approached the podium and presented Dr. Cetin with a gift on behalf of the Parish Council and the Diocesan Delegates.Dr. Cetin thanked all for their words of appreciation and assured the audience of her continued support of the Armenian Church and her beloved parish of Holy Martyrs.

Frank Kabarajian served as master of ceremonies and proceeded to introduce the members of the dais, under the presidency of Archbishop Khajag Barsamian, who were Fr. Vahan Hovhanessian, Parish Council Chairman Dr. Lynn Cetin, Deacons Garbis Martayan, Norayr Zakarian and Hagop Yaghliyan.
A short program ensued, including as speakers Dr. Lynn Cetin, Krikor Ghazarian on behalf of the tbirs, and Roy Seter on behalf of the newly ordained sub-deacons.
