Lynet Mortensen, LCSW

Lynet Mortensen serves as a licensed mental health therapist for the Success for All Students project.
is based at Barber Middle School
provides mental health services for students and families; Lynet
also offers these services at McCall Primary, Acworth Intermediate, and Baker Elementary schools.
She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
Lynet started her career in the mental health services field as a caseworker for the Department of Children and Family Services (DFACS) in a rural Georgia county.
Later, she worked in the Home Health Care field for a major Georgia hospital, specializing in counseling for homebound clients.
Prior to joining the Success for All Students team, Lynet worked at a metro-Atlanta psychiatric hospital for nearly ten years.
She earned her Masters of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of Georgia.
