Last night SKNVibes spoke with Police Public Relations Officer Inspector Lyndon David, who gave details about the accident.
informed that the accident occurred at about 7:47 a.m. in the vicinity of New Dawn Moravian Church
and Four Miles and had involved motor Omnibus H4096 owned and driven by Vernon Casey of Ponds Pasture and motor jeep PA7947 driven by Senetta Mathew of Molineux.

said such is currently "under investigation" and a press release would be disseminated to the media thereafter.
is advising all motorists to adhere to the speed limit, especially in built up area, and exercise the necessary precautions.
went on to explain that drivers should stay on their side of the road when approaching a corner, reduce speed and always expect that something could be ahead that could cause one to alter speed such as a rock, broken down car, animal or pedestrian.
Inspector David also appealed for pedestrians to use the road safely and wisely.
further advised road workers to communicate with the Traffic Department and to always have the necessary signage placed on the road so as to advise the public of the road conditions ahead.
said six passengers were taken to the hospital following the accident; four from the bus and the others from the jeep.
The woman who spoke with this media house sustained a minor injury to her
right shin following the impact of the crash, which is swollen.
admitted that she
did not remain at scene but soon after realised that her
foot was paining while she
walked, so she
went to the hospital for treatment.
She shared that two primary school students, who seemed to be under the age of nine, were travelling in the motor jeep, and among those in the bus were another primary school student and his father.
The woman highlighted that after the collision, the father asked his
son if he
was alright but the boy appeared to be in shock and was not responding.
pointed out that it was just last Wednesday (Sept. 25) around the same time when a similar accident occurred involving the same Omnibus.
