The Bonita Springs Newcomers held an April 13 meeting at Mediterra Club in North Naples, according to Lucy Mastej, president. She said the club was honored to have a past president, Jan George, as the speaker, who discussed the American Red Cross. For 25 years, she has dedicated time and effort to help hundreds of people in need.She held the group of people captivated with her stories about helping Bonita Springs during a flood, gas lea k, and power outages, Mastej said.
