A baby girl wrapped in a maroon skirt, which looked liked a school uniform, and found abandoned on the side of the road in Barangay Tortosa, Manapla, is now being cared for at the town's health center, Mayor Lourdes Escalante said yesterday.
The child who appears to only be days old has fair complexion and cute dimples, the mayor said.
A Cadiz City resident spotted the baby at about 12:30 p.m. Thursday and informed the nearby Victorias-Manapla-Cadiz Rural Electrification Service personnel about it.
