Bishop Louis Milazzo

aec.johnkersey.org

Acting on behalf of Archbishop Francis Facione was the Rector, Bishop Louis Elias Milazzo.
Before accepting the charge as Rector of the Cathedral, Bishop Milazzo was the Titular Bishop of Appolonia for the Greek Missionary Archdiocese of America. Since the closing of our St. John's on 102nd St. in Manhattan, Bishop Milazzo has been very welcoming to our Remnant and we are most grateful to him.

Bishop Louis Milazzo, Pastor, St. Lucy's Old Roman Catholic Church, presented the award to Esposito and stated "Because of Gerry's long years of the work with both him and Monsignor Hector Gonzalez in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn dealing with homeless, battered women and the new emerging Hispanic community, he is very familiar with St. Lucy's in the north Williamsburg section of Brooklyn.
Bishop Milazzo said "Esposito has been very instrumental in networking so that St. Lucy's can get the supplies needed for continuing this outreach. Esposito spoke at the luncheon and thanked the Council and Bishop Milazzo for bestowing the award.
