The Final Elimination in TFH paired "Problem Child" against "Speed Sport Special" piloted by Jarret Silvey (Boat Owner: Lou Osman).
"These two key individuals, along with the Speed Sports crew, who have proven themselves repeatedly as is evidenced by our success over the years, should result in a potent combination capable of competing in an ever-improving field of top fuel boats in the Lucas Oil Drag Boat Racing series", said team owner, Lou Osman.
The new Lucas Oil Speed Sports Special will be running an Outrigger Bullet hull, as Mr. Osman felt it offered the safest possible ride for Jarrett, who is already accustomed to driving the new style hull.

Regardless, Speed Sports' owner Lou Osman is simply enjoying the time his team has to work together during races. "My crew chief, "Famous" Amos [Satterlee], is incredible. He is one of the few people who can transition between working on both top notch race cars and boats," says Osman.
While Osman is the owner of the boat, the driver is John Haas.
Osman was once a driver until an injury accident at Marble Falls in 1999 . "I love working on the boat, but I don't want to drive it. I've entrusted Amos for the last 20 years with all of the tuning - he is a legend in what he does - and I am so glad to have him on my team," Osman says.
A successful businessman, Osman and his wife Marianne have had a Top Fuel Hydro for the past 20 years.
While talking with Lou ..., 24 Oct 2012 [cached]
While talking with Lou Osman, the owner of the Speed Sport boat, I asked about the Hot Licks ride gunning for him. ?That?s the typical pill, Dennis isn?t the only one, I think that there are about four other boats that have their guns pointed the same way. We have a pretty good team here so I think that we can deal with that.? This was said with pride in the people around Osman.
With a contagious laugh Osman added, ?I think that the driver red lit.?
Augusta is one of the premier races for the IHBA. The total purse is the largest that anyone in this series has a chance to win. The fans are among the best also. ?The people are really great here; the Augusta committee always makes you feel real welcome. Since we have been racing here for so long; we probably have the largest fan base here of any of the venues that we travel to.? stated Lou.
John Haas, Lou Osman and the Speed Sport crew were on hand at the Night of Fire.
John and Lou both stressed that the for the fans to get the full effect of Night of Fire; they need to come out to the Riverfront Marina and experience the boats a full throttle traveling down the liquid quarter mile. ?For us to make fire which is what everyone wants to see, we have to lean the engine out; when we lean the engine out it can hurt exhaust valves, damage the heads or even destroy a motor.
We start them and run them like we normally race, but we don?t lean them out.? said Lou Osman.
