National Anthem and "American Hero" sung by: Lorrie Gill, Lead Singer - Orange Blossom Opry
The Villages Daily Sun, 19 Jan 2005 [cached]
One of the popular area talents performing on the bill was singer/actress Lorri Gill of the Orange Blossom Opry, who delighted the crowd with her Dolly Parton look-alike number, "9 To 5," and a heartfelt rendition of an original composition by Villager Bonnie Daniels called, "Moonlight Shadows."Gill's powerful voice provided momentum, while the dancers created the show's excitement.
"Lorri looks forward to coming to this show every year," said Rusty Seal, who, with his son, Brandon, waited for Gill backstage.
The fans welcomed Gill with a standing ovation, while other guests, a clogging team called The Ramblin' Rebels, brought in by Sandy DeVorah, also received an appreciative greeting from the audience.
