...Lona Shaw joined EnterTECH in March of 1995, after serving two and a half years of active duty in the Army, where she received extensive training in computer operations.Over the last six years Lona has attended a variety of Bentley sponsored reseller training courses and become EnterTECH's lead MicroStation J Specialist.
Lona's duties include demonstarting MicroStation J and other Bentley products, providing client telephone support and conducting formal training at client sites and at our training facility.Lona is EnterTECH's principal Bentley product trainer.She
has successfully completed Bentley System's
rigorous instructor certification for all levels of MicroStation J training, MicroStation Modeler (Bentley's ParaSolids based modeling product), and MicroStation TriForma (Bentley's 3D Architectural modeling software).She
was one of the first 10 certified Modeler instructors in the United States.Over the past several years Lona
has taught numerous Bentley Certified training courses for large and small AEC firms, manufacturing companies, utilities, and DOTs.
conducted customized training for WVDOT on MicroStation J Basic and Advanced topics.She
conducted fourteen two and three-day classes over a period of seven months, totaling 150+ trained WVDOT employees and consultants.
Over the past five years, Lona
has conducted MicroStation training seminars at the annual WVDOT Technology Conference in Charleston, West Virginia.She
has presented a wide variety of topics ranging from Accudraw to Plotting to advanced 3D rendering.This conference attracts more than 400 WVDOT employees and consultants every year.Lona has extensive 3D modeling experience with MicroStation, TriForma and Modeler.
and TriForma to create a 3D Architectural drawing and Flythrough movie for the Army Transportation Department at Fort Eustis, Virginia.She has also worked with the City of Virginia Beach to take their 2D MicroStation drawings and convert them into 3D models, then incorporate digital photography to present at public meetings.Over the last two years Lona has been working with Verizon Virginia to train all of their EA's on MicroStation Telco CMA.
This contract started in August of 2000 and spanned a total of fifteen months.At the completion of this project Lona
had trained over 300 Verizon
