Lolita M. Ross, MPPA, PMP, President & Managing Principal - As a certified project management professional (PMP) and multi-sector strategist, Lolita has nearly 20 years of experience in population health solutions, community development, public policy, and social innovations working in the public, corporate, and nonprofit sector. Prior to founding SHARED Strategy Group, LLC Lolita lead the southern portfolio of work for CommonHealth ACTION as Director of Southern Strategies where she implemented multi-sector, capacity building approaches based on equity and community based participatory principles. Additionally, Lolita lead the management and delivery of statewide disease management and continuum of care programs for eligible Medicaid beneficiaries in Mississippi, Florida, and Texas as well as management of a nurse advice line program supporting U.S. military families (Tri-Care) overseas. Her career includes serving as Executive Director for the Mississippi Association of Community Action Agencies; Founding member of the Mississippi Individual Development Account Partnership (later Mississippi Asset Building Coalition); Federal Grant Reviewer (consultant) for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services; Head Start Program Reviewer and Board of Directors for Hinds County Human Resource Agency; Former Board Member for the National Center for Appropriate Technology; Planner with the City of Jackson Redevelopment Authority; and Program Analyst with the MS Center for Technology Transfer. A trusted advisor and implementation strategist for community, business and nonprofit leaders, Lolita M. Ross, MPPA, PMP, has nearly 20 years of experience in social innovations, population health solutions, applied equity strategies and community development. Prior to joining NNPHI as Chief Program Officer, Lolita founded SHARED Strategy Group, LLC, a national practitioner consortium that provides technical assistance to support social innovations. Her work includes achievements in the implementation of multi-sector strategies in rural, coastal, and urban communities leading to the development of sustainable models for systems change work to address social determinants of health. Additionally, Lolita lead the design and implementation of capacity building strategies for philanthropic grantees as Director of Southern Strategies; implemented multi-state/multi-country continuum of care management programs with McKesson Health Solutions; served as founding Executive Director for the Mississippi Association of Community Action Agencies and the Mississippi Asset Building Coalition; implemented Head Start program reviews; served on the Board of Directors for the National Center for Appropriate Technology; lead development planning with the Jackson Redevelopment Authority; and countless other experiences contributing to improved conditions in communities across the country.
