Liza Smoker Faw
Liza Smoker Faw was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale.
She graduated cum laude from Florida State University with degrees in Real Estate and Business, where she returned to receive her law degree.
has successfully litigated hundreds of hearings and several bench and jury trials.
practice in commercial and civil litigation, business, real estate, landlord tenant, and other matters.
She is a member of The Fund Attorney's Title and is experienced in real estate negotiations, closings, and title insurance.
Before joining Rogers, Morris & Ziegler, Mrs. Faw served in the offices of the Florida House of Representatives, the Executive Office of the Governor, the Office of the State Attorney, and the White House.
As Legal Intern in the Office of the Counsel to the President of the United States, Mrs. Faw assisted the President's Associate Counsel primarily with research of various issues including federal judicial nominations, executive appointments, and other legal matters concerning the Presidency and the White House.
As a CLI in the Office of the State Attorney, Mrs. Faw
prosecuted crimes and advocated before juries in the 2nd Judicial Circuit.
has competed on the state and national level in several trial advocacy competitions.
was a Regional Champion and National Semi-Finalist in competitions held by the American Bar Association
was a member of Florida State University's
Judicial Board, Journal of Land Use and Environmental Law, and Stephen R. Booher American Inn of Court.
She is currently a member of the Florida Bar, the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida, and president of the Broward County Bar Association, Young Lawyers Section.
