She has lived in the Washington area for most of her life, earning a BA from Georgetown University and an MA in art history with a concentration in museum studies at George Washington University. She organized travelling exhibitions and coordinated loans at the National Gallery of Art, Washington for 10 years. As an active volunteer in the community, Lisa chairs the PTA cultural arts committe of Longfellow Middle School, leads and coordinates Girl Scout troops at Haycock Elementary, and teaches art appreciation and outdoor education. When she's not at the Arts Council or volunteering at a school, you can find Lisa enjoying performances and exhibitions throughout the region.
