She was also a driving force behind the formation of the Chapter's first Women's Focus Group which she has chaired since its inception. In 2008, Lisa won the Sam Traum Award, given annually to a member of the New York State Society of CPAs, for outstanding service to the society and the membership.
Lisa is currently an Adjunct Tax Professor at SUNY College at Old Westbury, teaching Tax II to undergraduate students. She has also been very active in the community and since 2006 has served on the COAP Board, in conjunction with Adelphi University which provides high achieving minority high school students an opportunity to participate in a summer internship program.
