Lisa M. Freese, M.S. Mrs. Lisa Freese is a Genetic Counselor certified by the American Board of Medical Genetics.She received both her B.S. degree in biology and her M.S. in Genetic Counseling at the University of Pittsburgh.She serves on committees with the National Society of Genetic Counselors and the Mid-Atlantic Regional Genetics Network.She has been working at The George Washington University Medical Center's Wilson Genetics Center since 1989.The Wilson Genetics Center
provides prenatal and preconceptual genetic counseling for patients regarding risk for birth defects, testing options and patient concerns.She
also provides genetic counseling to patients at a number of outreach clinics in the District of Columbia and presents educational seminars to medical students, residents and other health professionals.
