toward a Doctorate of Musical Arts degree in Performance.

and across Central Texas as a singer and as a collaborative pianist in recitals and concerts.She
most recently appeared with the CAC Chorale of Temple in Bach's Magnificat, the Brahms Requiem and as the "Mother" in Menotti's Amahl and the Night Visitors with the Music in Salado Series.Upcoming events include Beethoven's Ninth Symphony and the Poulenc Gloria with the CAC Chorale.Clement
maintains a highly active voice studio.In addition to performing in monthly studio classes, Clement's students sing each spring in a solo recital.Recent programs include: French Mélodies (2004); Contemporary Art Songs (2003); Songs of Spain (2002); Great American Spirituals (2001); and American Art Songs (2000).Her
students have been honored as first place winners in the National Association of Teachers
of Singing district and tri-state regional singing competitions and in the Texas Music Teachers Association Young Artist competition. Ms. Clement
has been recognized for excellence in teaching.She
is listed in the 2004 Who's Who Among Teachers in America's Colleges and University and in 2002 received multiple nominations from UMHB
faculty for the prestigious Piper Professor Award.
In addition to teaching a full studio of voice students, Ms. Clement
coordinates the weekly Performance Labs and instructs Vocal Diction I and II for singers.Ms. Clement has served as full-time faculty at UMHB since 1994.
