Lindsey Gladhill of Catoctin and a junior on the Gardner-Webb soccer team was named to the Atlantic Sun Conference second team.The forward scored a team-high seven goals and had four assists this season.Earlier this season, she was named conference player of the week.

The Thurmont native had game-winning goals against Winthrop and Appalachian State this year.Her sister, Kasey, also played for Gardner Webb.She had two game-winning goals and two assists for the Division I school.
Several athletes from Frederick County now at Hood College have been named to All-Atlantic Women's Collegiate Conference fall all-conference teams.
Freshman Whitney Boyer of Middletown was named to the first team in soccer.

Kasey Gladhill, sister of current GWU standout Lindsey Gladhill, attends Catoctin High and plays for FC Frederick Premier Soccer Club while also spending time with the Maryland ODP from 2001-2005.

Gladhill helped her club team to a berth in the State Cup finals and guided her Catoctin squad to the state semifinals as the team's leading scorer while playing midfield.
Gladhill is a member of the National Honors Society and is currently serving as Catoctin's Senior Class President.Gladhill is also the recipient of the Martin Luther King Character Award.
