The IVC family welcomes our two new regional directors - Mike Goggin to IVC DC-Metro Maryland and Linda Wihl to IVC Cincinnati.
Linda Wihl joins the Ignatian Volunteer Corps after over 15 years of experience leading nonprofit organizations in Cincinnati. She was Executive Director of Winton Place Youth Center, Business Manager at the Women's City Club - whose mission was to create a more just and livable community for all, Development Assistant for the Matthew Kelly Foundation, and most recently Interim Director and Voter Services Consultant for the League of Women Voters. She has also worked for 12 years as Innovator, Trainer, and Volunteer Coordinator for "Making Sense of Language Arts" for Cincinnati Public Schools. Her areas of strength include Volunteer Coordination, Non Profit Management, Pastoral Ministry, Collaborating with Community Partners, and Teaching. Linda received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from California State University-Sacramento and a Masters in Religious Studies from the University of Dayton. Linda shares a brief, self-introduction and reflection as she begins her new adventure as the Cincinnati Regional Director.

Linda Wihl Greater Cincinnati Regional Director, Ignatian Volunteer Corps Linda Wihl is the Greater Cincinnati IVC Regional Director (or as some of the volunteers call her, "the matchmaker"). As the Executive Director of Making Sense of Language Arts, she is also a service site partner and sponsor. Her favorite title is "grandma!" Thank you Linda for this very timely reflection.
