Linda Lucey, Ph.D Linda has been a mathematics public and private K12 school teacher.
Linda's involvement in K12 education encompasses the creation and implementation of online professional-development, teacher education at the college and graduate level, technology-integration workshops and in-school instruction, and evaluation consultation.Linda's education includes a Master's in Curriculum Development and Instructional Technology (CDIT) with a concentration in mathematics education and instructional technology.She earned her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction in December 2005 from the University at Albany.Her
research interests focus mainly in the areas of adaptive educational hypermedia and mathematics education.She
has published and presented nationally in the specific areas of programming and problem solving, computer-assisted instruction, hypermedia design, and asynchronous online learning. She
is fascinated by inquiry and problem-solving approaches to mathematics and science and studied learning in classrooms, labs, on-line discussions, workshops, and with interactive multimedia.Prior to joining the International Center for Leadership in Education, Linda served as a Project Manager for the Center for Initiatives in Pre-College Education (CIPCE) at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, coordinating the Capital Area Technology and Inquiry in Education (CATIE) program and Online Learning Forum (OLF).
