Linda Lirette - Language Arts Teacher
A New Orleans native, Ms. Lirette
teaches music and English language arts.
She holds a B.A. in music and English from Loyola University New Orleans.
In addition to teaching, she also serves on the board of Terrebonne Advocates for Possibility, a nonprofit dedicated to community and culture in Chauvin, Louisiana, leads summer workshops as director of Enriching Arts, and is a 2010 Teach for America corps member.
Ms. Lirette's research
interests include gardening, ballet, kung fu, singing, American poetry, medieval music and mysticism, Cajun culture, coastal erosion remediation, social justice, Hildegard von Bingen, Emily Dickinson, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
