SWCS receptionist Linda Larson
celebrates 10 years
Linda Larson-the familiar friendly voice that answers the SWCS phone line-celebrated her
10th year anniversary with the Society in April.Before joining the Society in 1995, she worked for Erickson Displays in Des Moines, Iowa.Linda was first hired as a mailroom clerk, where she was responsible for processing all incoming mail and shipping out the Society's orders.

relates that the Soil and Water Conservation Society
was one of the largest in volume of shipments with the Postal Service, shipping almost a million pieces per year. In 2000, she was promoted to receptionist where she now answers incoming calls, fielding an array of questions and directing callers to the appropriate staff or resource areas where they can find the information they need.She has recently resumed her role as the mail processor for the Society, while at the same time continuing her duties as the receptionist.Linda resides in Ankeny and in her free time enjoys working as a director for Mary Kay cosmetics and spending time with her daughter Stacey, son-in-law Randy, and their five children, four of which were adopted from Russia.
